Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

And speaking of Wolf Time — starting TODAY, all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will begin their new Wolf Time rotations. So be sure to check with your TA teachers to find out where you’ll be going. Once again, the new Wolf Time rotation begins today!

Calling all MUNNERS! The WMS Model UN Club is meeting TODAY in room C105 during ASP I. Participants will be researching and discussing famous landmarks from around the world. And don’t forget that permission slips are DUE for the upcoming Kenmore Conference. See Mr. McDermott with any questions.

This is the last week of Black History Month — and we’ve got something special in store. It’s time to see how much you remember about the Black History Month TRIVIA that we’ve been sharing all month long.

Just scan the QR codes posted throughout the school to test your knowledge. And remember — whichever grade gets the most correct responses will earn BONUS POINTS for the WMS Pep Rally this Spring. Good luck, wolves! And thanks for supporting Black History Month!

The Helping Hands Food Drive — which is benefiting the Arlington Food Assistance Center — will be collecting donations until this THURSDAY. Collection bins are located in each grade-level hallway.

And remember — whichever grade donates the most food will get a POPSICLE PARTY! So you can help people AND get a sweet treat. Who’s going to win? Show your donation domination, And give to the Helping Hands Food Drive!

And now it’s time time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Congratulations to the WMS girls’ basketball team for earning a pair of big wins last week — defeating Gunston on TUESDAY and Jefferson on THURSDAY.

Their record now stands at 5 wins and one loss — putting our team in FIRST PLACE with just a few more games to go. Our last two HOME games are scheduled for TODAY and Thursday, so everyone is encouraged to pack the stands and root our team to victory. Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap]

It’s SPIRIT WEEK here at WMS — leading up to the 7th and 8th grade Glow Party this Friday. Thanks to all the students and staff who showed their school spirit by dressing up for today’s theme: Color Wars!! 6th grader BLUE; 7th grade WHITE; and 8th grade BLACK. You’ve got spirit, yes you do!!

And here’s the rundown for the rest of the week: Wednesday is Twin Day; Thursday is Pan Africa Day; and Friday is Neon Day. So get into the spirit for Spirit Week, and be a part of the Wolf Pack Pride!

And another reminder for our 7th and 8th graders — the Glow Party is scheduled for this FRIDAY from 6 to 9pm in the school gym. Students can purchase tickets during lunch for just 2-dollars each. Let’s light up the night, wolves!!
