  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule.  That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class.  And for Wolf Time this week, everyone should go to your TA classroom. Again, this is an A-Day — and go to your TA classroom for Wolf Time. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • Calling all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders!! All students must bring their iPads to PE this week and next week for Physical Fitness Testing!  When fitness testing is complete, you can lock your iPad in your PE locker. But DON’T FORGET them after class!  Once again, everyone should bring your iPad to PE.

  • The WMS Homecoming Dance — Winter Yeti-Land — is scheduled for Friday, February 10th from 6 to 8pm in the gym. There will be music, dancing, pictures, prizes, and lots of good snacks. To attend, just complete the free online registration form by Monday, February 6th.  Don’t delay, get your ticket to the Yeti-Land Dance TODAY!!

  • And speaking of Homecoming — We’ve got spirit, yes we do, we’ve got spirit, how about YOU?! Next week is SPIRIT WEEK here at WMS — leading up to Homecoming and the Yeti-Land Dance!

    Here’s the rundown: Monday is PJ Day; Tuesday is Teacher & Student Switch Day; Wednesday is Twin Day; Thursday is Sports Day; and finally, Friday is Class Colors Day — 6th grade blue, 7th grade white, and 8th grade black.
    .
    So get into the school spirit for Spirit Week — and be a part of the Wolf Pack Pride!!

  • Everybody in the pool!! The WMS Swim and Diving teams are getting ready for a new season.  Interested athletes should complete the Google Form located outside of the Activities Office by February 21st.

  • The Spotlight Women’s Sports Club will be hosting a bake sale fundraiser — this FRIDAY after school in the main lobby and by the cafeteria.  All proceeds will go the the Women’s Sports Foundation — which is dedicated to supporting female athletes in sports and in life. So come to the bake sale this Friday, and celebrate women and girls in sports!!

  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE! The APS Honors Choir put on an amazing performance at Kenmore Middle School last Saturday — and TWENTY of our fellow Williamsburgers represented this school with distinction.  It was a night of beautiful music that they’ll never forget.  Way to go, musical Wolves!! [clap]

  • Wolf Pack Pride continues with the WMS Art Department — who racked up the glory at this year’s Scholastic Art Competition. 24 Williamsburg students combined to win 35 awards for their incredible art projects — including 2 Honorable Mentions, 4 Silver Keys, and 29 Gold Keys.  Many of the winning projects will go on display next month for the entire community to enjoy.

    But that’s not all, the Gold Key projects will now be entered into a NATIONAL art competition — where they could win scholarships worth THOUSANDS of dollars.  Way to go, artistic wolves!! [clap]

  • Wolf Pack Pride wraps up with the boys basketball team who lost a tough one on the road against Swanson on Tuesday — 34 to 29.  Matt L. and James D. were strong on offense, but they came up just short.  Even still, the team played tough right up until the buzzer. Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap]

    Boys basketball will look to get back in the win column TODAY at 3:30 on the home court against Kenmore.  So come on out, pack the stands, and root them on to victory!!
