- Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
. - Let’s DANCE!! Tonight is the 7th and 8th grade Mardi Gras Masquerade Dance, from 7 to 9pm in the gym. There will be a DJ and dancing, fun and games, snacks, and good times with friends. But please remember that all school rules will still be in effect, there’s no re-entry if you leave early, and you must depart or be picked up promptly at the end of the dance. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions. And we’ll see you there!
. - Preparations for the dance have already begun, so the gym is CLOSED today. As such, all PE classes will be meeting in the auditorium instead. Once again, everyone in PE should go to the auditorium for class.
. - Everybody in the pool! The WMS Dive team is getting ready for the new season. To participate, interested divers should complete the Google Form in Canvas, or scan the QR code on the Activities Board. The form must be submitted by TODAY. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.
. - It’s time to start thinking about NEXT year’s classes! Course Request Forms are DUE on Friday, February 23rd. So talk it over with your family, get it signed, and get it turned in. Remember — these decisions MATTER! If you don’t pick your classes, someone ELSE will pick them for you. See your class counselor with any questions.
. - And now for a “wellness tip” from our school clinic! It’s cold, flu, and covid season again — so here are three simple strategies for keeping our shared environment HEALTHY and SAFE! First — WASH YOUR HANDS!! Second — Fully cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing. And third — if you’re not feeling well, please STAY HOME. Together, we can stop these germs and viruses BEFORE they spread. See our school nurse with any questions.
. - It’s SPIRIT WEEK here at WMS!! Thanks to all the students and staff who showed their school spirit and wore your jammies for PJ Day. You’ve got spirit, yes you do!!
