Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

Game on! The WMS Homecoming Game is TODAY after school in the main gym. The festivities begin with our annual staff versus students basketball game at 2:45. And after that, our WMS girls basketball team will play its final home game of the season against rival Swanson Middle School. So come on out to the Homecoming Game, pack the stands, and root your classmates on to victory! And be sure to bring money for snacks!!

It’s time to start thinking about NEXT year’s classes! Course Request Forms are DUE on Friday, February 23rd. So talk it over with your family, get it signed, and get it turned in. Remember — these decisions MATTER! If you don’t pick your classes, someone ELSE will pick them for you. See your class counselor with any questions.

Everybody in the pool! The WMS Dive team is getting ready for the new season. To participate, interested divers should complete the Google Form in Canvas, or scan the QR code on the Activities Board. The form must be submitted by this FRIDAY. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

Let’s DANCE!! The 6th grade had a BLAST at the Valentine’s Day Dance yesterday — but the festivities aren’t over yet. This FRIDAY night is the 7th and 8th grade Mardi Gras Masquerade Dance, from 7 to 9pm in the gym. There will be a DJ and dancing, fun and games, snacks, and good times with friends. But please remember that all school rules will still be in effect, there’s no re-entry if you leave early, and you must depart or be picked up promptly at the end of the dance. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions. And we’ll see you there!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Congratulations to the WMS girls’ basketball team for defeating Dorothy Hamm Middle School on Tuesday by a score of 29-22. The game started out tough — and our team actually fell behind for the first time all year. But there’s no “quit” in WMS! Our players came storming back for the hard fought victory, and remain undefeated on the season. Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap]

And don’t forget to come out for the homecoming game TODAY after school — when our Girls’ basketball team will try to win one more. Good luck, team!!

It’s SPIRIT WEEK here at WMS!! Thanks to all the students and staff who showed their school spirit and wore your brightest colors for Neon Day. You’ve got spirit, yes you do!!

Spirit Week wraps up tomorrow with everyone’s favorite — PJ Day! Just be sure not to fall asleep in class. Get into the school spirit for Spirit Week — and be a part of the Wolf Pack Pride!!
