Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

It’s time to start thinking about NEXT year’s classes! Course Request Forms are due TODAY. So make sure it’s signed and submitted before you leave for the weekend. Remember — these decisions MATTER! If you don’t pick your classes, someone ELSE will pick them for you. See your class counselor with any questions.

Calling all members of the WMS Wresting Team! You MUST go to Ms. Hogwood’s office during your grade-level lunch today. Once again, everyone on the WMS wrestling team MUST see Ms. Hogwood at lunch.

WHAT ARE THOSE??? As part of our school’s commitment to sustainability, Williamsburg is supporting a Sneaker Recycling Program called “Got Sneakers!!” So if you have any old shoes lying around, don’t throw them away!! Instead, from now until the end of the year, please donate them to “Got Sneakers” by dropping them off in room 233. Again, bring your old shoes to room 233. See Mr. Sundwick with any questions.

And now, it’s time for “Black History Month — That’s a FACT!!”

Today’s fact is about Bessie Coleman — the 1st African American woman AND the first Native American to earn her pilot’s license in 1921. Due to racial segregation at that time, Coleman was unable to get her pilot’s license in America — so instead, she went to flight school in France and finished at the top of her class. And That’s a Fact!!
