- Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
. - Calling all SIBLINGS! If you’d like to be featured in a special section of the 2020 Yearbook, please come to the library RIGHT NOW for your photo shoot. We want brothers, we want sisters, we want TWINS! Once again, the Yearbook “sibling” photo shoot is happening RIGHT NOW in the library. So come on down — and say cheese!!
. - Have you voted on the 2020 SUPERLATIVES? There’s just a few days left — so students AND teachers are encouraged to go to the Morning Announcements Blog, select the link to your grade-level superlatives quiz, then name the classmate who best represents each category, including: best smile, cutest couple, biggest class clown, and many more. Cast you vote for your class superlatives TODAY!!
- Calling all Best Buddies! The Best Buddies Club is meeting RIGHT NOW in the cafeteria. Participating students who haven’t gone yet should IMMEDIATELY go down for a special Valentine’s Day celebration! Once again, the Best Buddies Club is meeting NOW. Thanks, Buddy!!
. - Hey, 8th graders — high school is calling! Course Request Forms are due next TUESDAY at the latest. Be sure to look carefully at all of the courses for any special instructions — as some core and elective classes require additional applications and letters of recommendation. If you’ve lost your CRF or have any additional questions, please see your counselor as soon as possible.
. - The “toothbrush recycling drive” is underway! Over 12 million toothbrushes and COUNTLESS beauty products end up in landfills and oceans every year — but we can do something to help! Students and staff are encouraged to bring in their used dental, hair care, and beauty products — and drop them off in the designated bins outside of room 115. Everything we collect throughout the year will be sent to a special recycling facility. See Ms. Warden with any questions. Let’s make a difference, Williamsburg!
