  • Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • It’s the last day of Kindness Week here at WMS.  But even though the week is ending, your IMPACT is just getting started. Please remember that kindness is a CHOICE.  You can CHOOSE to be kind every single day, and spread those good vibes wherever you go.  Thanks again for participating in Kindness Week.  Small acts, big impact!!

  • Everybody in the pool!  The WMS Swim and Dive teams are getting ready for their new seasons.  There are no tryouts, but interested athletes need to register by TODAY in order to participate.  Just scan the QR code on the Activities Board and complete the GoogleForm to sign up.  Also, you must have a current physical on file to participate.  See Ms. Hogwood with any questions about swim or dive.

  • The “snowcrete” is finally melting, but it will never be forgotten — especially if we include it in the WMS Yearbook!  If you have any pictures from all those snow days — like sledding, shoveling, or playing in the snow — please share them by clicking the submission link on the WMS homepage. And your picture could be featured in the 2026 yearbook! See Ms. McFerran with any questions.

  • Let’s PLAY!! If you’re looking for something fun and athletic to do after school, the PE department is hosting an OPEN GYM session TODAY during ASP 1.  But please be aware that there is NO LATE BUS today, so you need to arrange your own transportation home.  See Mr. Schutz with any questions about Open Gym.

  • And now it’s time for Black History Month TRIVIA.  Listen closely, because we’ll be testing you on these at the end of the month.  And whichever grade gets the most correct answers will earn bonus points for the WMS Pep Rally this Spring.  Here we go!

It is widely believed that the first person killed in the American Revolution was a man named Crispus Attucks — a sailor of mixed African and Native American ancestry.  He was shot by British soldiers — along with several other Colonists — during the Boston Massacre.  Crispus Attucks’ sacrifice was immortalized by Paul Revere in his famous engraving of the event.
