• We’re starting school a little later than usual today.  As such, we will be following a modified B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — plus Wolf Time. But TA ends at 10 a.m., and classes are a little shorter than usual.  Again, this is a modified B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

• And due to the winter weather, Picture Make-Up Day has been POSTPONED.  We will be rescheduling Picture Make-Up Day for sometime in January, so stay tuned for more details.  But once again, Picture Make-Up Day has been POSTPONED.

• Calling all book-lovers!  Today is the LAST DAY of the annual WMS Book Fair. There are still a TON of great books to choose from.  So get a pass and come to the library TODAY during TA, lunch, or after school. Thanks for supporting the WMS Book Fair — and we hope you find the perfect book for YOU!!

• ’Tis the season to be GIVING!  The WMS Helping Hands Club is collecting toys for local families in need.  Donation bins will be located in the main lobby and by the cafeteria from now through next Monday, December 8th.  Just make sure your donated items are NEW and UNWRAPPED. You may also donate gift cards to online or retail stores.  But please — no stuffed animals, nor toys resembling weapons.  Thanks for helping the Helping Hands Club Toy Drive!!

• Show someone you care this holiday season and get them a Candy Gram! From now through December 12th, you can get a peppermint candy cane for 1-dollar, or a special flavor 2-dollars.  Just place an order through your TA teacher, and they’ll be delivered to the person of your choice before Winter Break.  All proceeds will benefit the WMS Best Buddies Club.  See Ms. Nance with any questions about Candy Grams. • Calling all scientific students!!  It’s time to take your Independent Science Project to the next level.  If you would like to participate in the 2026 WMS Science Fair, please sign-up using the QR code located in the Morning Announcements Blog on the WMS Website.  The deadline to register is Wednesday, December 17th.  And the Science Fair is scheduled for Tuesday, January 13th.  See Ms. Zarro, Mr. Thompson, or your science teacher with any questions.  Good luck, scientists!!

• Calling all athletes! The winter sports season is just around the corner, with co-ed wrestling and girls basketball scheduled to begin next month.
