- Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
. - Smile for the camera, wolves — because it’s PICTURE MAKE-UP DAY here at WMS. Pictures will be taken in the Auxiliary gym at the following times: 8th graders during TA; and 7th and 6th graders during their Wolf Time periods. If this is your FIRST time taking a school picture, then just go on down to the gym. But if it’s a retake, you must bring your unwanted picture packet with you to exchange. See Ms. Wielechowski in the main office with any questions. Say cheese!
. - This is another important announcement for all 6th graders on the Exploratory Wheel. Today is the FIRST DAY of your new B-Day elective. Be sure to check your schedule for the class location — or go to your TA teacher with any additional questions. Once again, 6th graders begin their new Wheel classes TODAY.
. - Read any good books lately? The “Talk about Books” Club” — a.k.a. TAB — will be meeting TODAY during all grade level lunches in the library. So grab your grub and come take a look at these Totally Awesome Books!!
. - Calling all math lovers! Math Counts will be meeting TODAY during ASP 1 in room WW 1. All 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are invited to do math problems, play math games, and perform many other math activities. It’s all math — all the time at Math Counts!! See Mr. Mencarini for more information.
. - Calling all Best Buddies! The Best Buddies field trip to the International Spy Museum is scheduled for TOMORROW — and will be leaving promptly at 9:15 a.m. Participants are reminded to bring a packed lunch. And don’t forget that you’re responsible for making-up any missed work. See Ms. Parris with any questions. Thanks, Buddy!!
. - Get ready for a BOOK BONANZA! The Academic Book Fair is coming to Williamsburg — starting TOMORROW and going until December 12th in the school library. 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will all have a chance to visit with their English classes — but everyone is welcome to stop by any day of the week — either before school or during your lunch period.
.
Plus, the Book Fair will also be open late-night on THURSDAY December 5th, TUESDAY December 10th, and again next THURSDAY December 12th — to coincide with the three Winter Concerts. So don’t forget to bring your money — and go get yourself a good book!
. - And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Solomon! If you are having any problems with your school-issued iPad — whether it’s password problems, not connecting to the internet, glitching apps, cracked screens, or ANYTHING else — please submit the online “Student Tech. Help Request” form through the WMS website. Ms. Solomon’s got the solution! So submit today — and get yourself back online.
