- We begin today with WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Spirit Week rolls on here at WMS with Tacky Sweater Day. Thanks to all the students and staff who got into the “school spirit” and dressed the part. But remember — there’s one more Spirit Day to go. Tomorrow is everybody’s favorite theme: PAJAMA DAY!! So put on your jammies and slippers tomorrow as we keep the good times going — just make sure it’s school appropriate. And of course, there’s no theme for Friday… because it’s Winter Break, baby! Spirit Week at WMS — Be a Part of the Pride!!

- Wolf Pack Pride continues with “big props” to the WMS girls basketball team. The Wolves were looking for redemption yesterday at Thomas Jefferson Middle School in their final game of the year… and they GOT IT — scoring a BIG 36 to 25 win. TJ made a game of it, but our outstanding athletes played tough and commanded the court from buzzer to buzzer. Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap] With the win, your WMS Wolves take 2nd place for the Arlington County Championship. Coach Boyers sends here thanks to the entire team, and congratulations on a fantastic season. GO WOLVES!!

- It’s better to GIVE than to RECEIVE! Today is the final day of the WMS Kindness Club’s “Fill the Cruiser – Holiday Toy Drive.” Students and staff are encouraged to bring in NEW and UNWRAPPED gifts, all of which will be given to APS students in need this holiday season. Grade-level donation bins are located in the library. So keep the donations coming, and we’ll see which grade has the most GENEROUS holiday spirit. Spread kindness where you may, and donate to the Toy Drive today!!

- Takedown, reversal, PIN! The WMS wrestling team is set to begin its season on TUESDAY, January 2nd — the day we return from Winter Break. Wrestlers should be prepared to “throw down” on the very first day — just be sure to have your physicals in. See Coach Hicks with any questions.

- Attention Model UN Club! The list of delegates for the upcoming William and Mary Conference is now posted outside of room 202. Be sure to stop by this week and confirm your participation. Also, all MUNners who signed up for the Gar-field Conference should see Ms. Carlson either today or tomorrow to get your assignment.
