  • We’ve got some special activities today!  The WMS PTA is treating our students and staff to the annual FALL FESTIVAL in the courtyard!  To accommodate the festivities, we will be following a modified B-Day schedule.  8th graders — your Wolf Time and 5th period will be flipped; but everyone else will follow their normal schedule.
    .
Also, lunch and Wolf Time will both be extended to 50-minutes, while your other classes will be a little bit shorter.  Again, this is a modified B-Day.  See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • And here’s how the Festival itself will work.  Each grade-level should go to the cafeteria at your designated lunchtime.  WMS staff will then escort you to the courtyard — where you can join the fun!
    .
There will be donuts, cider, music, games, and more. So get ready for a great time at the PTA’s annual Fall Festival — TODAY during all grade-level lunches!!
    .
  • Say cheese!  If you dressed up for Twin Day today, the WMS Yearbook wants your picture!  Just take a pic standing side-by-side with your twin, then upload it to the Yearbook using the link on the WMS homepage.  You can also ask your TA teacher for the upload link.  See Ms. McFerran with any questions.
    .
  • The WMS Helping Hands Club is collecting UNOPENED Halloween candy for deserving “community helpers” — like first responders, custodians, crossing guards, and many more. But today is your LAST CHANCE to donate.   To participate, just drop-off your candy in the green donation bins located by the main entrance and the cafeteria. The bins look like MONSTERS — so you can’t miss them.  It’s the Halloween Candy Donation Drive. Feed the monster, and thanks for supporting Helping Hands!!
    .
  • Who’s hungry!  The WMS PTA is teaming up with Chipotle for a restaurant spirit night fundraiser — next WEDNESDAY, November 12th at the Lee Heights shopping center location.  Just mention the fundraiser when ordering, and 25-percent of your purchase will be donated to our school.  Thanks for your support, wolves!!
    .
  • Calling all 7th and 8th graders!  Want to be a leader and make a difference? WMS is launching the C.A.R.E Council — a new leadership group for 7th and 8th graders promoting Compassion, Awareness, Responsibility, and Empathy!  If interested, applications are due on November 14th.  See Ms. Battle with any questions.
    .
  • Put your creative genius to the test! The annual PTA Reflections Contest is still accepting submissions from all grade-level students. This year’s theme is: “I Belong!” Projects can include Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts.  But the deadline to submit is just 2-weeks away — Friday, November 21st — so you need to get started! Go to the WMS website for more information. Unleash your inner artist and submit to the PTA Reflections Contest today!!
