  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7— plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • Attention all 6th graders on the Exploratory Wheel! We’re into the second quarter, which means it’s time to rotate to your next exploratory class. Journalism goes to Theater in room 228; Theater goes to French in room 220; French goes to Visual Arts in room 127; and Visual Arts goes to Journalism in the Library Classroom.  The room numbers for your new classes are also posted in StudentVue.  Once again, 6th graders begin their new Wheel classes TODAY.
    .
  • The Future Business Leaders of America Club is meeting TODAY during ASP 1 in room 136.  Participants will be selecting officers and planning for their first official project of the year! All are welcome!  See Ms. Briones with any questions.
    .
  • Calling all 7th and 8th graders!  Want to be a leader and make a difference? WMS is launching the C.A.R.E Council — a new leadership group for 7th and 8th graders promoting Compassion, Awareness, Responsibility, and Empathy!  You’ll learn more about C.A.R.E. during your SEL lesson.  If interested, applications are due on November 14th.  See Ms. Battle with any questions.
    .
  • The WMS Helping Hands Club is collecting UNOPENED Halloween candy for deserving “community helpers” — like first responders, custodians, crossing guards, and many more. And every piece of candy counts!  To participate, just drop-off your candy in the green donation bins located by the main entrance and the cafeteria. The bins look like MONSTERS — so you can’t miss them.  Candy donations will be accepted until this Friday.  It’s the Halloween Candy Donation Drive. Feed the monster, and thanks for supporting Helping Hands!!
    .
  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Congratulations to the WMS Boys Ultimate team, who finished their season with the best record in the county — 9 wins and just 2 losses — making them the undisputed County Champions.
    .
Special congratulations go to the class of 2026 — who were UNDEFEATED throughout their entire middle school career.  That’s right — they didn’t lose a single match in 3-years!!
    .
Big shout out to our 8th grade team captains — Ben Y. and Oren P.  — and to all of our 8th graders who’ve been playing together since the 6th grade:  Shelby S, Cole N, Henry L, Marcus L, Sam K, Nick G, Maddox C, Emmet C, Daylen C, Landon B, Andrew C, and Kaaj B.
    .
And let’s also recognize the amazing play from our 6th and 7th graders.  We know they’re gonna do great again next year.  Way to go, Ultimate wolves!! [clap]
