We’ve got some special activities today! The WMS PTA is treating our students and staff to the annual FALL FESTIVAL in the courtyard! To accommodate the festivities, we will be following a modified A-Day schedule with an extended 50-minute lunch period. Wolf Time will also be longer than usual. So be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a modified A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

And here’s how the Festival itself will work. Each grade-level should go to the cafeteria at your designated lunchtime. WMS staff will then escort you to the courtyard — where you can join the fun! There will be music, games, treats, and more. So get ready for a great time at the PTA’s annual Fall Festival — TODAY during all grade-level lunches!!

Attention students who participate in after-school intramurals. This is a friendly reminder that you MUST sign-in before going outside. The QR code is located outside of the gym by the girls’ locker-room entrance. See Mr. Eason, Ms. Kargbo, or Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

Calling all MUNNERS! Model UN will now be held on THURSDAY of this week due to the teacher workday tomorrow. Once again, Model UN will be meeting on THURSDAY. See Mr. McDermott with any questions.

Calling all sports fans! The WMS boys’ basketball team will be hosting its first home game of the season TODAY after school in the main gym against rival Swanson Middle School. Students and staff are encouraged to come out, pack the stands, and root our team to victory! Thanks for your support, Wolves!!

And speaking of basketball, how would you like to be the official score-keeper for the WMS Boys Basketball team??? The scorekeeper will work all of their home and away games — so you’d even travel with the team to competing schools. Interested scorekeepers should see Ms. Hogwood, Coach Clark, or Coach Nelson during your lunch period.

The PE Fall Gear Sale is open for business! From now until November 19th, WMS families may purchase hoodies, long-sleeved t-shirts, joggers, or leggings through the online store. It’s a great way to show your Wolf Pack Pride — AND to stay warm on these cold fall days. See your PE teacher with any questions about ordering.

Believe it or not, but TODAY is the last day of the 1st Quarter! So be sure to check StudentVue and talk to your teachers about any missing assignments or make-up work. Again, 1st Quarter grades close TODAY.

And as we reach the end of the first quarter, it’s a perfect time to reflect on how we’ve done so far, and what we hope to accomplish the rest of the year.
