  • Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • Put your creative genius to the test! TODAY is your LAST CHANCE to participate in the annual PTA Reflections Contest. This year’s theme is: “Accepting Imperfections.” Projects can include Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts. But again, you must submit your project TODAY!  Go to wmspta.org for more information.

  • The Annual Fall PE Gear Sale has been EXTENDED until this SUNDAY, November 24th!! Students can purchase hoodies, long-sleeved t-shirts, joggers, or leggings through the online store — accessible through the WMS website.  It’s a great way to show your Wolf Pack Pride — AND to stay warm on these cold fall days.  Get them before they’re gone!!  See your PE teacher with any questions about ordering.
    .
  • Calling all nature lovers!!  Do you like spending time in the WMS courtyard?  Would you like to help make it a healthy habitat for turtles, toads, and birds?  Then come to the Courtyard Keepers — every Monday during ASP 1 in room 111.  YOU can make a difference.  See Ms. Zarro with any questions.
    .
  • Calling all actors, singers, dancers, backstage, and technical crew! There will be an interest meeting for the WMS Spring Musical — Descendants, Junior — on Monday, December 2nd during ASP 1 in the Auditorium.  Learn all about the play, how to audition, and the various roles both on-stage and behind-the-scenes.  Contact Ms. Mac or Ms. McTavish with any questions.
    .
  • And now for an important SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT for all students!  When crossing the street on the way to school or on the way home, please DO NOT USE YOUR IPHONE!!  Distracted walking is incredibly dangerous, so you really need to pay attention to the traffic around you.  Once again, put down your phone in the crosswalk — and STAY SAFE!!
    .
  • And finally, November is Native American Heritage Month. It’s a time to celebrate the people and rich cultures that existed on this continent long before European settlers arrived.
    .
And it’s important to remember that Native American Heritage Month isn’t just about the PAST.  In fact, it’s very much about the PRESENT.  Stay tuned for this next video — where a group of kids, just like you, talk about what it means to be a Native American.
