Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

And speaking of Wolf Time — starting TODAY, all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will begin their new Wolf Time rotations. So be sure to check with your TA teachers to find out where you’ll be going. Once again, the new Wolf Time rotation begins today!

And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Stokes-Beverley! It’s almost time to update your iPad! TODAY after school, everyone will need to update your iPad to the latest operating system — iOS 18.7. Step-by-step instructions are posted in Canvas to walk you through it. Once again, be sure to update your iPad TODAY after school. See Ms. Stokes-Beverley in room 135B with any questions.

Attention Future Business Leaders of America! The FBLA club will be holding Officer Elections TODAY during ASP 1 in room 136. Candidates should come prepared to speak, and everyone should be ready to vote. And if you’d still like to join the FBLA, all are welcome! Come to the meeting today and check it out! Put your creative genius to the test! The annual PTA Reflections Contest is still accepting submissions from all grade-level students. This year’s theme is: “I Belong!” Projects can include Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts. But the deadline to submit is TOMORROW — so get it done! Go to the WMS website for more information. Unleash your inner artist and submit to the PTA Reflections Contest today!!

You have the power to help those in need! The government shutdown may be over, but many people in our community are still experiencing food insecurity. So WMS is hosting a FOOD DRIVE to benefit the Arlington Food Assistance Center all week long. Just drop-off your non-perishable food items — and/or toiletries — in the collection bins located in the main lobby and outside of the cafeteria. Every contribution counts!! Thanks for supporting the Arlington Food Assistance Center!!

’Tis the season to be GIVING! The WMS Helping Hands Club is collecting toys for local families in need. Collection bins will be located in the main lobby and by the cafeteria from now through December 8th. Just make sure your donated items are NEW and UNWRAPPED. You may also donate gift cards to online or retail stores. But please — no stuffed animals, nor toys resembling weapons. Thanks for helping the Helping Hands Club Toy Drive!!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Congratulations to the WMS girls soccer team, who defeated Gunston Middle School on Tuesday: 5 to zero. Out team dominated from the start, scoring their first goal in the second minute of play — and they never looked back.

Big props to 8th grader Hannah R, who had a hat-trick and an assist; to Elizabeth S. and Maddie S with one goal a piece; and to the entire defense for shutting out the competition. Way to go, soccer wolves!! [clap]
