  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • Attention Future Business Leaders of America!  The FBLA club will be holding Officer Elections this THURSDAY during ASP 1 in room 136. Candidates should come prepared to speak, and everyone should be ready to vote.  And if you’d still like to join the FBLA, all are welcome!  Come to the meeting this Thursday and check it out!  See Ms. Briones with any questions.

  • Put your creative genius to the test! The annual PTA Reflections Contest is still accepting submissions from all grade-level students. This year’s theme is: “I Belong!” Projects can include Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts.  But the deadline to submit is this FRIDAY — so get it done! Go to the WMS website for more information. Unleash your inner artist and submit to the PTA Reflections Contest today!!
    .
  • You have the power to help those in need!  The government shutdown may be over, but many people in our community are still experiencing food insecurity.  So WMS is hosting a FOOD DRIVE to benefit the Arlington Food Assistance Center all week long.  Just drop-off your non-perishable food items — and/or toiletries — in the collection bins located in the main lobby and outside of the cafeteria. Every contribution counts!!  Thanks for supporting the Arlington Food Assistance Center!!
    .
  • And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Stokes-Beverley and Ms. Hwang!  If there’s anything wrong with your iPad — including password problems, keyboard issues, cracked screen, broken apps, WiFi, or anything else — please tell your TA teacher so they can notify technology support. They’ll have you back online in no time!!
    .
  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! We’ve got a big announcement from the WMS Helping Hands Club.  Last week’s Halloween Candy Donation Drive was a HUGE success — collecting a grand total of 486 pounds of candy!
    .
All of the candy is now being donated to deserving “community helpers” — like first responders, custodians, crossing guards, and many more.  Doing a good deed never tasted so “sweet.”  Way to go, wolves!! [clap]
    .
  • Wolf Pack Pride continues with the Boys Basketball team — who defeated Jefferson Middle School last Thursday:  47 to 25.  With the win, our team improved its record to a perfect 5-wins and zero-losses.
    .
Big props to our leading scorers:  Morgan with 9-points, and Greg, Ayden, and Wade with 6 points each.  This was a team win all the way around.  Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap]
    .
  • And be sure to come out for the next boys basketball game — this TUESDAY against Gunston Middle School in the main gym at 3:30.  Let’s pack the stands and root them on to victory!
