Calling all Anime-niacs! There is no Anime Club meeting today. But don’t forget about next week’s special event: a visiting animator and artist from the New York School of Arts will be hosting an art workshop! It’s going to be Anime-zing! Contact Ms. Armistead with any questions.

Who’s hungry?! The WMS PTA is teaming up with Chipotle for a restaurant spirit night fundraiser. It’s TODAY at the Lee Heights shopping center location. Just mention the fundraiser when ordering, and 25-percent of your purchase will be donated to our school. Thanks for your support, wolves!!

Calling all 7th and 8th graders! Want to be a leader and make a difference? WMS is launching the C.A.R.E Council — a new leadership group for 7th and 8th graders promoting Compassion, Awareness, Responsibility, and Empathy! If interested, applications are due this Friday. See Ms. Battle with any questions.

Put your creative genius to the test! The annual PTA Reflections Contest is still accepting submissions from all grade-level students. This year’s theme is: “I Belong!” Projects can include Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts. But the deadline to submit is less than 2-weeks away — next Friday, November 21st — so you need to get started! Go to the WMS website for more information. Unleash your inner artist and submit to the PTA Reflections Contest today!!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Congratulations to the WMS Model UN team, who competed in their very first conference at Alice Deal Middle School last Saturday — and they did GREAT!!

Big props to Madeleine M., Benjamin M., and Rafe N. — who were all honored with Verbal Commendations for their outstanding work. And to all 14 of our Delegates who represented WMS with pride. Way to go, MUNNER Wolves! [clap]

Wolf Pack Pride continues with the WMS boys basketball team, who earned TWO big wins in the past week.

First, they defeated Gunston last Thursday by a score of 39 to 30. And then the beat Dorothy Hamm on Monday by a score of 52 to 18. With the victories, they improved their record to a perfect 4 and 0 on the season.

We’ve got some special activities today! The WMS PTA is treating our students and staff to the annual FALL...
