  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • This is a reminder for all students planning to tryout for the Wolfbots robotics team — tryouts are TODAY after school in room 129.  See Coach Dude with any questions about Wolfbots Robotics.

  • The Boys Ultimate team is gearing up for a new season!  The first practice is scheduled for next TUESDAY.  There are no tryouts — and all are welcome to join.  Just come to the gym after school next TUESDAY for a short meeting and then you’ll head out and play!  See Mr. Smo with any questions.

  • The Spotlight Women’s Sports Club will have its first meeting of the year on TUESDAY in Room 118 during ASP1 and 2 . All interested students are welcome to attend.  See Mrs. Young with any questions.

  • The WMS Helping Hands club will be holding its first meeting next WEDNESDAY in the Library Wolf Den during ASP 1.  Helping Hands focuses on community service, helping our neighbors in need, and supporting local non-profits. All students in all grades are welcome to join! See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

  • Calling all athletes!! If you want to participate in Boys Basketball or Girls Soccer this year, you MUST have a physical on file by next Thursday, October 12th.  You ONLY need to submit ONE physical for the entire year — so if you’ve already submitted one, you’re good!  And don’t forget to scan the QR code outside of Ms. Hogwood’s office to register!

  • Brush your hair, wash your face, and smile for the camera!  SCHOOL PICTURE DAY is scheduled for next THURSDAY and FRIDAY during PE class.  Picture packages can be ordered ONLINE by going to the WMS website. See Ms. Johnson with any questions. And say cheese!!

  • And finally, it’s Hispanic Heritage Month — a time to recognize the millions of Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. .
