  • Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • Calling all students!  It’s time to sign-up for Wolf Time!!  Each grade has between 9 and 12 different Wolf Time options to choose from.  Please complete the Google Form during TA today — and sign-up for the Wolf Time choices you like the most.  See your TA teacher with any other questions.
    .
  • Does anybody want a WOLF PAW??? Then this story is for YOU!!  The 8th grade Family and Consumer Science class is collecting empty cereal boxes, newspapers, old t-shirts, and coffee filters for an upcoming sustainability project.  If you donate any of these items, the FACS teacher — Ms. McFarren — will reward you with a WOLF PAW!  Please bring your donations to room 128 by next THURSDAY, October 10th, and thanks for your support, Wolves!!
    .
  • I hope you’ve been on your best behavior lately, because Parent-Teacher Conferences are NEXT WEEK — THURSDAY the 10th from 4:30 to 7:30pm; and FRIDAY the 11th from 8 to 11:30 a.m.  Conferences will be conducted “Arena Style” — so tell your families that no appointment is necessary. Just come on in and have a chat!  Parents and teachers together — what could be better than that?!
    .
  • Calling all athletes!!  The Fall sports season keeps rolling along — with girls ultimate, girls basketball, and boys soccer scheduled to begin next month. But to participate, you MUST do TWO THINGS:  first, complete the QR code for your sport.  And second, you must submit your SPORTS PHYSICAL FORM — Girls Ultimate is due on October 7th; while Girls Basketball and Boys Soccer are due by October 18th. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.
    .
  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The boys Ultimate team concluded their season on Monday with two big wins against Gunston.  This left them with a TERRIFIC overall record:  the 6th grade team won half of their games, despite playing most of their matches against 7th graders; the 8th grade team finished 4 and 2, a solid winning percentage;  and BOTH 7th grade squads went UNDEFEATED on the year — they were truly UNSTOPPABLE.
    .
Special props to 8th grade captains Skuyler B., Sergio S., and Appian K.; and to 7th grade and 6th grade captains Ben Y, Maddox C, Oren P., Sebastian B and Nick W.  And congratulations to EVERYONE on the team for a great year.  Way to go, Ultimate wolves!! [clap]
    .
  • And one more thing about Boys Ultimate:   now that the season is over, we need your uniform shirts back!  Please return your Ultimate shirts to Ms. Hogwood in the Activities Office as soon as possible.  If they’re not returned, you may be charged for a replacement. Once again, Ultimate shirts need to be returned ASAP!!
