- Today we will be following the C-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And remember, there is NO Wolf Time today. Again, this is a C-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
. - Calling all students! Williamsburg is making an open call to all 6th, 7th and 8th graders for the Student Council! The Student Council helps to plan all of the amazing school-wide events throughout the year — and it’s a real opportunity for you to step-up and be a LEADER here at WMS. For more information, see Ms. Hogwood at lunch.
. - Let’s play a game!! The WMS Card Game Club will be meeting TODAY during ASP 1 in room 1A6. If you like Uno, Crazy 8s, or even Go Fish, then this club is for you! See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.
. - This is a reminder for all students planning to tryout for the Wolfbots robotics team — tryouts will be on THURSDAY after school in room 129. See Coach Dude with any questions about Wolfbots Robotics.
. - The Boys Ultimate team is gearing up for a new season! The first practice is scheduled for next TUESDAY, October 10th. There are no tryouts — and all are welcome to join. Just come to the gym after school next TUESDAY the 10th for a short meeting and then you’ll head out and play! See Mr. Smo with any questions.
. - Are you interested in joining the new Anime Club at WMS? The first meeting is scheduled for NEXT WEDNESDAY, October 11th, after school in room 109. Again, Anime will be meeting NEXT WEEK. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.
. - Calling all athletes!! If you want to participate in Boys Basketball or Girls Soccer this year, you MUST have a physical on file by next Thursday, October 12th. You ONLY need to submit ONE physical for the entire year — so if you’ve already submitted one, you’re good! And don’t forget to scan the QR code outside of Ms. Hogwood’s office to register!
. - And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The WMS girls Ultimate team had another twin-bill against Swanson on Monday. In the first game, our 8th, 7th and 6th graders combined to OBLITERATE the competition — 21 to 2! The Wolves’ offense was an unstoppable force — centered around perfectly timed cuts by 8th grader Alex, and 6th graders Elliot and Alina.
.
And in the second game, our 6th and 7th graders played to a tie — 6 to 6. Props to 6th graders Sophia and Cephie for their break out games, and to fellow 6th grader Risa and 7th grader Ellen for their amazing support. Way to go, Ultimate wolves!! [clap]
