- Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And don’t forget, all students should go back to your TA for Wolf Time. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
. - Brush your hair, wash your face, and smile for the camera! SCHOOL PICTURE DAY is scheduled for next week — October 13th and 14th — during PE class. Picture packages can be ordered ONLINE by going to the WMS website. See Ms. Cummings in the main office with any questions. Say cheese!!
. - Calling all students! Are you interested in helping with the pep rally and planning WMS spirit days? If so, then come to the SCA meeting — that’s the Student Council! — TODAY in room C106 during ASP 1. You can make a real difference in this school! See Ms. Martin or Ms. Board with any questions.
. - Ready, set, READ!! The “Talk about Books” Club” — a.k.a. TAB — will be meeting TODAY during all grade level lunches in the library. So if you love to read, just bring your lunch and come take a look at these Totally Awesome Books!! See Ms. Tan with any questions.
. - Calling all MUNNERS!! Model UN is meeting TODAY in room C105 during ASP 1. Participants will be discussing the upcoming conference and start practicing speaking skills. All are welcome! See Mr. McDermott with any questions.
. - And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The WMS girls soccer team took on Thomas Jefferson Middle School yesterday. And with the rain pouring down, they earned a hard-fought tie — 1 to 1.
.
The wolves struck first when 8th grader Eleanor P. drew a penalty kick, then 8th grader Lola C. put it home for the opening goal! TJ got a late score to tie it up. But WMS refused to lose — and kept the score knotted until the final whistle. Way to go, soccer wolves!! [clap]
