  • Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • Halloween Costume Guidelines, 2023It’s Halloween!  And there’s a HORDE of ghosts, goblins, and inflatable chickens roaming the halls today.  Big shout out to all of the students and staff who got into the Halloween spirit.

    But please remember that everyone must abide by the Halloween guidelines.  Costumes may not be offensive, no weapons, no masks, nothing inappropriate. — and everything else you see on your screen. And if you’re not sure — err on the side of caution and DON’T WEAR IT!  Or, ask an administrator.  Thanks for understanding, and have a Happy Halloween!!

  • Calling all students!  In celebration of being named a National Blue Ribbon School, we’ll be having a special celebration on November 13th — and all of YOU have a special role to play!  6th, 7th, and 8th graders will be spelling out the letters “W-M-S” on the blacktop behind the school.  But you know what they say:  Practice makes perfect!

    Blue Ribbon Celebration -- WMS pictureSo here’s the practice schedule — and it’s changed a little, so please pay attention!!  Today, 7th graders will be going to the blacktop during Wolf Time to learn your marks. And then on Thursday, both the 6th grade AND the 8th grade will go to the blacktop during their Wolf Time.

  • Believe it or not, but the 1st Quarter is rapidly coming to a close. Which means: it’s almost time for the Wolf Paw Drawing!!! That’s right — the 1st Quarter Wolf Paw Drawing will be held NEXT THURSDAY, November 9th, during TA. But to be eligible for a prize, you MUST submit your Wolf Paws by this FRIDAY.

    The Wolf Paw Prizes will be going on display outside of the library next week. There’s going to be some great stuff in there — so don’t delay! Be sure to turn in your Wolf Paws TODAY!

  • Calling all MUNNERS!  The Model UN Club will be meeting TODAY in room C105 during ASP I.  Please bring your permission slips for the upcoming GW Conference, and plan to learn the language of the UN.  Debate will center on the U.S. in International Affairs.  See Mr. McDermott with any questions.

  • Calling all members of the GSA!  There will NOT be a GSA meeting today. Once again, the GSA meeting has been cancelled.  See Ms. Wielechowski with any questions.  And enjoy your Halloween!

  • Attention Anime Club! If you plan to participate in “My Hero Academia,” please be sure to turn-in your permission slip to Ms. Hogwood by the end-of-the-day today, OR bring it to the club meeting on Wednesday.  Once again, Anime club — don’t forget to submit your permission slips!

  • Put your creative genius to the test! The annual PTA Reflections Contest is now accepting submissions from all grade-level students. This year’s theme is: “I am hopeful because…” Projects can include Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts.  The deadline to submit is Tuesday, November 21st.   • PE Fall Gear Sale, 2023-2024The PE Fall Gear Sale is open for business!  From now until November 19th, WMS families may purchase hoodies, long-sleeved t-shirts, joggers, or leggings through the online store.  It’s a great way to show your Wolf Pack Pride — AND to stay warm on these cold fall days.  See your PE teacher with any questions about ordering.
