  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • Believe it or not, but the end of the first quarter is just ONE WEEK away.  So be sure to check StudentVue and talk to your teachers about any missing assignments or make-up work.  Again, 1st Quarter grades close next Monday.
    .
  • And speaking of the end-of-the quarter, it’s nearly time for the 1st quarter Wolf Paw Drawing!!  That’s right — the 1st Quarter Wolf Paw Drawing is this FRIDAY.  But to be eligible for a prize, you MUST submit your Wolf Paws to your grade-level box by this WEDNESDAY.  Prizes are now on display outside of the library.  There’s some great stuff in there, so go take a look!  Once again, please submit your Wolf Paws by this WEDNESDAY.  And good luck!!

  • Calling all math lovers!! The WMS Math Counts Club is meeting TODAY in room 219 during ASP 1 and 2. All students are welcome.  See Ms. Rixey with any questions.  Hooray for math!!

  • October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  And to show our support, WMS is raising money with a “Pie the Teacher” contest!  To participate, just make a donation to the teacher of your choice during your grad-level lunch.  And whichever teacher raises the most money will get PIED at the end of the week.  So let’s come together as a community, have some fun, and support Breast Cancer Awareness.  Thanks for your help, wolves!!
    .
  • Calling all basketball fans!  The WMS boys basketball season tips off this TUESDAY against rival Swanson Middle School at 3:30pm in the main gym.  Students and staff are invited to pack the stands, and root our team to victory!
    .
And be sure to bring your appetite, because the WMS Check-in program will be selling popcorn and snacks outside of the gym during all home games.  But it’s CASH ONLY — no credit cards nor apple pay.   Once again, come to the boys basketball home opener this TUESDAY, and buy some treats during the game.

  • Red Ribbon Spirit Week, 2025It’s Red Ribbon Week here at WMS — the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation.  This year’s theme is “Life is a Puzzle, Solve it Drug Free!”  Thanks to everyone who wore the color RED today for Red Ribbon Spirit Week.  You are Red-y to Live a Drug Free Life!!
    .
And here are the themes for the rest of the week:  Tuesday is “Team Up Against Drugs Day — so wear your favorite sports jersey.  Wednesday is “Give Drugs the Boot Day” — so wear your favorite boots.  Thursday is “Pink Out Day” — so wear pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.  And finally, Friday is “Superhero Halloween Day” — so dress up as your favorite superhero, or any other costume you’d like.
    .
Thanks for supporting Red Ribbon Week, and for pledging to stay drug free!!
    .
  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Congratulations to the WMS Chorus — who teamed up with the Yorktown Choir last Wednesday for their first concert of the year!
    .
137 Williamsburg students participated in the show.  They wore costumes, sang spooky songs, and had a fabulous time!
    .
And now, for your viewing pleasure, we’ve got a recording of their grande finale —  “I Put a Spell on You” from Hocus Pocus — featuring a solo from 7th grader Sofiya W.
