  • Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • It’s “Red Ribbon Week” here at WMS — and today, we’ve got one last fact for you!! Most of us already know the dangers of illegal drugs, prescription medication, nicotine, and vapes — but there’s ANOTHER dangerous drug that often gets overlooked.  We’re talking about ALCOHOL.
    .
Alcohol is the NUMBER-1 most abused drug in America.  Alcohol is ILLEGAL for anyone under-21.  It impairs judgment, thinking, and learning. And tragically, alcohol abuse plays a role in more than 30-percent of teen deaths involving accidents, homicide, or suicide.  So remember to keep yourself safe, keep yourself healthy, and keep yourself drug AND alcohol free!
    .
Thanks to all the students and staff who wore their brightest clothing today for our theme:  We are too bright for drugs!!  Thanks to everyone for showing your commitment to a drug-free lifestyle — during Red Ribbon Week and beyond!  And thanks for putting the W-in-Everything, Williamsburg — and for staying DRUG FREE!!

  • Calling all students!  The Counseling Department will be hosting a series of presentations during Health and PE this week.  So EVERYONE is asked to bring your iPad to class. Once again, all Health and PE students should bring their iPad to class.
    .
  • Do any of your friends have a birthday coming up? Then you need to hear this!  If you’re planning to decorate a friend’s locker, you may ONLY do so AFTER SCHOOL.  Once again, you may NOT decorate during the school day — only after the final bell. And you must be FINISHED decorating before 3pm.  See your grade-level administrator with any questions.
    .
  • And now for a “technology tip” from Mr. Wightman and Ms. Hwang!  If there’s anything wrong with your iPad — including password problems, cracked screen, broken apps, WiFi, or anything else — please TELL your TA teacher so they can notify technology support. They’ll have you  back online in no time!!
    .
  • Put your creative genius to the test! The annual PTA Reflections Contest is now accepting submissions from all grade-level students. This year’s theme is: “I am hopeful because…” Projects can include Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts.  The deadline to submit is Tuesday, November 21st. Go to wmspta.org for more information.  Unleash your inner artist and submit to the PTA Reflections Contest today!!

  • PE Fall Gear Sale, 2023-2024The PE Fall Gear Sale is open for business!  From now until November 19th, WMS families may purchase hoodies, long-sleeved t-shirts, joggers, or leggings through the online store.  It’s a great way to show your Wolf Pack Pride — AND to stay warm on these cold fall days.  See your PE teacher with any questions about ordering.
