  • Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • Halloween Costume Guidelines, 2024And if you are dressing up, there are some important guidelines that you need to follow.  Basically, costumes must conform to the WMS dress code, not offend anyone, no weapons, no masks, nothing inappropriate — and everything else you see on your screen. And if you’re not sure — err on the side of caution and DON’T WEAR IT!  Or, ask an administrator.  Thanks for understanding, and have a Happy Halloween!!

  • Calling all math lovers! Do you like numbers?  Solving problems?  Or playing challenging math games?  Then we’ve got the perfect club for you!  Math Counts — the WMS after-school math club — is recruiting new members for the new year.  If you’re interested in joining, please contact Ms. Hogwood or Mr. Gardner as soon as possible.  Hooray for math!!

  • Fall PE Gear Sale, 2024The Annual Fall PE Gear Sale is open for business!  From now until November 19th, WMS families may purchase hoodies, long-sleeved t-shirts, joggers, or leggings through the online store — accessible through the WMS website.  It’s a great way to show your Wolf Pack Pride — AND to stay warm on these cold fall days.  See your PE teacher with any questions about ordering.

  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Congratulations to the WMS Girls Ultimate team who won ANOTHER big game against Swanson this week — 11 to 3.
    .
The team remains UNDEFEATED, and have outscored their opponents 37 to 12 on the year.  Coach Smolinski says this may be the BEST Ultimate team that WMS has EVER fielded!  Let’s wish them luck in their final match of the season next week against Gunston Middle School.  Way to go, Ultimate wolves!! [clap]

  • It’s the last day Red Ribbon Week here at WMS.  This year’s theme is “Life is a Movie, Film Drug Free.”  By staying drug free, you can be the HERO of your own story — in control of your own life, and inspiring others to make healthy choices.
    .
Our Substance Abuse Counselor, Ms. Chisolm; our Intervention Counselor, Ms. Battle; and ALL of our teachers and staff would like to thank you for your participation this week. Supporting a healthy, drug-free lifestyle can really make a difference in our shared community.  We CAN look after one another. We CAN care about each other.  And we CAN stay drug free!
    .
Thanks to everyone who wore a lei or Hawaiian shirt for our final Red Ribbon Week daily theme — “Lei Off Drugs.”  Thanks again for supporting Red Ribbon Week, and for staying drug free!!!
