  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  This first story goes way beyond the walls of our school — and straight into DC for last night’s National League Wild Card Game.  Congratulations to the WASHINGTON NATIONALS on their come-from-behind win against the Milwaukee Brewers — 4 to 3.  If you stayed up to see the game — it was one to remember!  Next up:  bring on the LA Dodgers!  Let’s go, Nats!! [clap]

  • Wolf Pack Pride continues with the WMS boys Ultimate team — which was was super busy this Monday.  First, the 6th and 8th grade teams combined to SWEEP a pair of games from Jefferson Middle School.  Then, against Gunston, the 6th graders won their match with a last second score — while the 7th graders came up just short, losing by 2.  But hey — 3 out of 4 ain’t bad!  Way to go, frisbee wolves!! [clap].

With the 3 wins added to their total, your Williamsburg Wolves are now the clear front runners for the County Championship heading into their final game of the season — next MONDAY at home against HB-Woodlawn, starting at 4:15.  Students and staff are encouraged to come on out, root them on to a CHAMPIONSHIP, and be a part of the PRIDE!!

  • Wolf Pack Pride continues with the WMS Tennis team — whose strong play earned another big win against Gunston yesterday, 4 to 1.  Props to 6th graders Maxik S., Matthew K., Rea R., and Emory H.; and to 8th graders Jacklynka S., and Eleni G.  Way to go, tennis Wolves!! [clap] Next up, our first ever match against Dorothy Hamm Middle School — TOMORROW at the Yorktown courts.

  • Wolf Pack Pride wraps-up with Girls Soccer who lost a heart-breaker on the road yesterday — 0 to 1 against Gunston — for the team’s first defeat since 2014.  The Wolves out-shot Gunston 13-3, but just couldn’t find the net.  You’ll get them next time, wolves!! [clap]  Girls soccer returns home on Thursday against our new rival, Dorothy Hamm, at 3:15. Come on out, be RESPECTFUL, and let’s get back in the win column!!

  • Have you ever been “DRESS CODED?”  Think the current dress code is violating your Freedom of Speech? Or perhaps it targets some groups more than others?  If you’d like to play a role in updating the Dress Code, then join the WMS Dress Code Committee — holding its first meeting next MONDAY during ASP 1 in room 201.  See Ms. Kenney or 7th grader Mary Francis for more information.  YOU have a voice in this school — so make yourselves heard, Williamsburg!!
