Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

I hope you’ve been on your best behavior lately, because Parent-Teacher Conferences have arrived — TODAY from 4:30 to 7:30pm; and FRIDAY from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Conferences will be conducted “Arena Style” — so no appointment is necessary. But they are limited to 5-minutes each. Parents and teachers together — what could be better than that?!

And speaking of Parent-Teacher Conferences — Wolfbots Robotics will be hosting a fundraiser today and tomorrow while the conferences are going on. They’ll be selling Technology Building Kits for ages 5 to 14. Kits are just 20-dollars, and all money raised will go to support our Robotics program and competitions. Be sure to tell your parents to pick one up — they’re a great gift for the upcoming holiday season!!

One last thing about Parent-Teacher Conferences — in preparation for the event, the gym will be CLOSED today. That means everyone in PE today should meet in the auditorium. Once again, if you have PE today, please go to the auditorium for class.

She shoots, she scores! Tryouts for the WMS Girls Soccer team are scheduled to begin next Monday, October 23rd, on the turf fields. Athletes are reminded to sign-up using the QR code by the Activities Board or outside of room 116. See Coach Treble with any questions.

Well, I’ve got some good news for you! EVERYONE can have a sweatshirt like this — and so much more! The PE Fall Gear Sale is open for business! From now until November 19th, WMS families may purchase hoodies, long-sleeved t-shirt, joggers, or leggings through the online store. It’s a great way to show your Wolf Pack Pride — AND to stay warm on these cold fall days.

Calling all students and staff! Next week is Red Ribbon Week — a nation-wide campaign committed to combating drug abuse. And here at WMS, we’re celebrating the occasion with a Red Ribbon SPIRIT WEEK!!

On Monday, everyone is encouraged to wear RED — red shirt, pants, socks, or whatever. And then at lunch, after you finish eating, you can participate in Red Ribbon trivia! Don’t forget!! Show your WOLF PACK PRIDE and wear RED on Monday for Red Ribbon Week!

And now, it’s time for the monthly Wolves with Character award! Just take a look at the screen to see all the deserving honorees from the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades — all of whom were chosen by their teachers for demonstrating outstanding RESPECT in their daily lives.

All of the winners will receive a certificate at lunch today, AND a special tasty treat. Congratulations, Wolves With Character!! [clap]
