  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • Brush your hair, wash your face, and smile for the camera — because “School Picture Day” is THIS WEEK!  Portraits will be taken during PE classes TODAY for ‘A’ Day and 5th period students; and TOMORROW for ‘B’ Day students. Remember to place a purchase order — and say CHEESE!!

  • It’s time to make time for Wolf Time!!  Starting TODAY, all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will be starting their Wolf Time rotations.  So be sure to check with your TA teachers to find out where you’ll be going. Again, the 1st Wolf Time rotation begins today!

  • And now for an important announcement for all 6th graders on the Exploratory Wheel — this week you will be rotating to your NEW exploratory class. So be sure to check your StudentVue to make sure you know where to go.  Again, the new Wheel classes for 6th graders begin today and tomorrow.

  • Calling all math lovers! Math Counts will be meeting TODAY during ASP 1 in room 216. All 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are invited to do math problems, play math games, and hone your problem solving skills. And this year, Math Counts is partnering with AMC-8!  It’s all math, all the time at Math Counts! See Ms. Janney or Mr. Mencarini for more information.

  • Attention, technology wolves!!   The Technology Student Association — a.k.a. the TSA — will NOT be meeting this week, but WOLFBOTS will.   Once again, TSA will NOT meet this week, but Wolfbots WILL meet.   See Mr. Dudek with any questions.

  • And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Solomon!  To all 8th Grade students:  If you still want to install Lexia on your iPad, you will need to have your iPad WIPED. This is NOT required — but if you do want to wipe your iPad, please submit a Student Tech Help Request form and Ms. Solomon will get your started.

  • Dribble, shoot, nothing but net!!  The WMS Boys Basketball team will be holding tryouts this Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday after school.  Players should come ready to play!! And don’t forget to submit your physical to participate.  See Ms. Warden in room 115 with any questions.

  • She shoots — she SCORES!!  The WMS Girls Soccer team will be holding an INTEREST MEETING for anyone who might like play — TODAY after school on the Turf Fields.  Participants will meet the coach, get information about tryouts, and learn everything you need to know about the upcoming season.   See Mr. Treble with any questions.

  • 2 – 4 – 6 – 8 — who do we appreciate??? CHEERLEADERS!!!  Tryouts for the WMS Cheer squad are scheduled for TODAY and TOMORROW after school in the gym.  And please note — participating girls AND boys must have a physical on file.  See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

  • And now it’s time for Wolf Pack Pride!  The WMS Tennis team wrapped-up an UNDEFEATED SEASON on Thursday with a great victory against Gunston!

    Nolan B. and Katherine T. picked up wins in Singles; the undefeated doubles-team of Jonah T. and Chase W. stayed perfect; plus more big wins from partners Duc P. and Brooke I.;  and Leah W. and Rea R.  Way to go, tennis wolves!! [clap]

    Up next for Tennis is the countywide tournament, scheduled for this Tuesday and Wednesday.  So when you see them in the halls, be sure to root the tennis team on to victory and a COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP!!
