Brush your hair, wash your face, and smile for the camera! SCHOOL PICTURE DAY is TODAY during PE class. Picture packages can be ordered ONLINE by going to the WMS website. And TEACHERS — please remember to get your staff picture taken today, too! See Dr. Koval with any questions. And say cheese!!
Let’s PLAY!! If you’re looking for something fun and athletic to do after school, the PE department is hosting its first OPEN GYM session TODAY during ASP 1. But please be aware that there is NO LATE BUS today, so you need to arrange your own transportation home. See Mr. Schutz with any questions about Open Gym.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To show our support, we’re raising money with a “Pie the Teacher” contest! And YOU get to choose who it’s gonna be! Three brave teachers from each grade have volunteered. And whichever teacher raises the most money during lunch this month will get pied on October 30th. So let’s come together as a community, have some fun, and support Breast Cancer Awareness. Thanks for your help, wolves!!

October is National Bullying Prevention Month. And today’s topic is: You Can Make a Difference. Adults aren’t the only ones who can stand up to bullies. Kids have power, too!! Be kind, speak up, and lead by example. Set The Standard — and bullies won’t stand a chance.

If you, or someone you know, is struggling with bullying, please be an UPSTANDER — not a BYSTANDER. You can make a difference, and we can stand up to bullies!!

And finally, next Monday, October 20th, is Diwali — an important cultural and religious holiday celebrated by over a BILLION people all over the world!
