Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

And now for an important announcement for all students and staff! As we begin the new year, it’s important that everyone be reminded of the expectations and rules here at WMS. So today, the administration will be hosting a series of “refocus assemblies” for all grade levels — 8th grade during 2nd period, 7th grade during 4th period, and 6th grade during 6th period. Students should report to their classrooms for attendance, and then your teachers will escort you to the auditorium. Let’s make a “resolution” to put the W-in-Everything! See your grade-level admin with any questions.

Calling all actors, singers, dancers, backstage, and technical crew! Auditions for the WMS Spring musical — Legally Blonde, Junior — are scheduled for January 16th. Interested students — for both on stage and back stage — should sign-up on the call board outside of room 228. But remember that the play is an after-school CLASS so it is a serious commitment. Additional information can be found by scanning the QR code by room 228, or just ask Ms. Mac. Break a leg!!

Just a reminder that if you’re planning to decorate a friend’s locker, you may ONLY do so AFTER SCHOOL. Once again, you may NOT decorate during the school day — only after the final bell. See your grade-level administrator with any questions.

And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Hwang! If there’s anything wrong with your iPad — including password problems, cracked screen, broken apps, WiFi, not charging, or anything else — please tell your TA teacher so they can notify technology support. They’ll have you back online in no time!!

And now for a “wellness tip” from our school clinic! It’s cold, flu, and covid season again — so here are three simple strategies for keeping our shared environment HEALTHY and SAFE! First — WASH YOUR HANDS!! Second — Fully cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing. And third — if you’re not feeling well, please STAY HOME. Together, we can stop these germs and viruses BEFORE they spread. See our school nurse with any questions.
