- Today we will be following the BLUE DAY schedule. That means TA is extended until 8:25, and then you’ll proceed to periods 1 through 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a BLUE day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
.
Any student who was requested for the Blue Day should report to that teacher’s classroom IMMEDIATELY. Please do NOT wait until the end of the announcements. Go NOW! Teachers, please double-check your Blue Day list and make sure those students are on their way.
. - Attention all students who are taking the AMC 8 test today! Please check-in with your TA teacher, then IMMEDIATELY go to the cafeteria. The test is about to begin!! And be sure to bring a pencil! Once again, students taking the AMC 8 test need to go to the cafeteria RIGHT NOW!!
. - Believe it or not, but this WEDNESDAY is the last day of the 2nd Quarter! So be sure to check StudentVue and talk to your teachers about any missing assignments or make-up work. Again, grades close on WEDNESDAY of this week.
. - And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Stokes-Beverley and Ms. Hwang! Your school-issued iPad is critical to your instruction here at WMS. Please remember that you are expected to bring it to school EVERY DAY and FULLY CHARGED. And if there’s anything wrong with it, please tell your TA teacher so they can notify technology support. They’ll have you back online in no time!!
. - Calling all students and staff — the WMS Yearbook needs your help!! If you’ve taken any good pictures this year, please consider sharing them with the Yearbook! For example, kids playing in the snow, spirit days, intramurals, or even just hanging out with friends. Or maybe teachers have pictures of special projects or amazing activities in your classroom!
.
To submit a pic, just scan the QR code on your screen. Or use the link on the WMS website. Pictures are due by this WEDNESDAY. And be sure to tag yourself and your friends! See Ms. McFerran with any questions.
. And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! TWENTY FOUR singers from Williamsburg were selected for the APS Honors Chorus Ensemble this year — and they were INCREDIBLE!!
.
They performed at Wakefield High School last weekend, along with the Honors Orchestra and Honors Band — bringing together the very best musicians in all of Arlington County. Congratulations!! And way to go, musical wolves!! [clap]
