- Today, we will be administering the NWEA MAP test for Math to the entire school. To accommodate the test, we will be following a modified B-Day schedule. That means TA ends at 8am, the test goes for 2-hours and 15-minutes, and then you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — plus Wolf Time. Again, this is a modified B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
.
And here’s a little more information about the NWEA test. Most students will be testing in an examiner’s room with their math classes. Your TA teacher can tell you the location. All you need is your iPad, but you may also have a pencil, a water bottle, and a book to read for when you’re finished. No phones, earbuds, smart watches, nor any other electronic devices are allowed. See your TA teacher with any other questions. And good luck on the test!!
. Calling all students and staff — the WMS Yearbook needs your help!! If you’ve taken any good pictures this year, please consider sharing them with the Yearbook! For example, kids playing in the snow, spirit days, intramurals, or even just hanging out with friends. Or maybe teachers have pictures of special projects or amazing activities in your classroom!
.
To submit a pic, just follow the link on the WMS website by next WEDNESDAY. And be sure to tag yourself and your friends! See Ms. McFerran with any questions.
.- And now for a “wellness tip” from our school clinic! It’s cold, flu, and covid season again — so here are three simple strategies for keeping our shared environment HEALTHY and SAFE! First — WASH YOUR HANDS!! Second — Fully cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing. And third — if you’re not feeling well, please STAY HOME. Together, we can stop these germs and viruses BEFORE they spread. See our school nurse with any questions.
