Today, we will be administering the MAP Growth assessment in Reading to the entire school. To accommodate the test, we will be following a modified B-Day schedule. That means TA ends at 8am, the test goes until 9:30, and then you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — but there is NO Wolf Time. Again, this is a modified B-Day with no Wolf Time. See your TA teacher with any questions.

And here’s a little more information about the MAP test. Most students will remain in their TA for the test unless otherwise directed by your TA teacher. All you need is your iPad, but you may also have a pencil, a water bottle, and a book to read when you’re finished. No phones, earbuds, smart watches, nor any other electronic devices are allowed. See your TA teacher with any other questions. And good luck on the test!!

Believe it or not, but this FRIDAY is the last day of the 2nd Quarter! So be sure to check StudentVue and talk to your teachers about any missing assignments or make-up work. Again, grades close at the end-of-the-week.

Calling all MUNNERS!! The Model UN Club is meeting TODAY in room C105 during ASP I. Participants will be preparing for the conference which was snowed-out last week and rescheduled for this Saturday. See Mr. McDermott with any questions.

Get a HOT chocolate on a COLD winter day! The WMS Best Buddies Club will be selling hot chocolate this FRIDAY before school outside of the cafeteria. It’s just 1-dollar per cup, and all money raised will go to support our fantastic Best Buddies program. See Ms. Taylor with any questions. Thanks, buddy!

Up next, we need to talk about LOCKERS! If you’ve decorated a friend’s locker, those decorations MUST be removed after a week. We’ve got to keep our lockers neat and clean — both INSIDE and OUTSIDE. Plus, make sure you’re CLOSING your locker every time so it locks. And if it won’t close, see your TA teacher for help.

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The WMS girls’ basketball team traveled to Gunston Middle School last Thursday for their first game of the season — and it was an absolute ROMP! Williamsburg won the game 44 to 4!! Big props to Carolyn — the leading scorer with 15 points — and to the entire team for dominating on both ends of the court. Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap]

Girls basketball will be hosting their first HOME GAME of the season TODAY after school against TJ. Students are encouraged to pack the stands, and root them on to victory. See you there!!
