  • Today is an EARLY RELEASE day, so the schedule is a little different than usual.  We will be following a modified C-Day schedule. That means TA ends at 7:55, and then you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7.  Be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class.  Again, this is a modified C-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • Did you miss Picture Day last fall, or did your picture not turn out so well? Then you’re in luck — because TODAY is “Picture Make-Up Day” in the Auxiliary Gym.  If you never got a picture this year, then you can just go on down. But if it’s a retake, you must bring your unwanted picture packet with you to exchange. See Dr. Koval with any questions. And say cheese!
    .
  • And now for a special announcement from Family and Consumer Science.  The 8th grade FACS class is making dog toys out of old T-shirts for the Animal Welfare League of Arlington. But they need more T-shirts!  Students and staff are encouraged to bring their old T-shirts to the FACS room — room 128 — and Ms. McFerran will give you a Wolf Paw for your support. Thanks for your help, Wolves!!
    .
  • Who’s ready for a fantastic show?!  The WMS theater department is proud to present our Winter play: The Snow Queen — based on the classic story by Hans Christian Anderson.  Performances are scheduled for this THURSDAY and FRIDAY, both at 7pm in the auditorium.
    .
Tickets are just 5-dollars per person, and can be purchased in advance on the WMS website using SchoolCash — or you can buy them at the door using regular cash.  See Mr. Randle with any questions about “The Snow Queen”, and we hope you enjoy the show!
    .
  • Calling all actors, singers, and dancers!  Once the Winter Play is over, it’ll be time to start working on the Spring Musical!  Auditions for the the WMS Spring Musical — MATILDA — are scheduled for January 20th and 21st in the Auditorium after school. Interested performers should prepare 30-seconds of a song, and 30-seconds of a monologue. Please register for the auditions by scanning the QR code on the Theater Call Board and completing the Google Form.
    .
The show also needs a backstage crew — for lighting, sound, sets, props, costumes, and art design. Again, just complete the QR code to sign-up — but no audition is necessary for crew.  See Mr. Randle with any questions about “Matilda.”  And break a leg!!
