- Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
. - Read any good books lately? The “Talk about Books” Club” — a.k.a. TAB — will be meeting TODAY during all grade level lunches in the library. So grab your grub and come take a look at these Totally Awesome Books!!
. - Sister Circle will be meeting TODAY during ASP 1 in room 201. Members and allies are encouraged to come out for a little Girl Talk — and a lot of fun activities! See Ms. Cameron with any questions.
. - Calling all math lovers! Math Counts will be meeting TODAY during ASP 1 in room C106 with Ms. Janney. All 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are invited to do math problems, play math games, and perform many other math activities. It’s all math — all the time at Math Counts!! See Ms. Janney or Mr. Mencarini for more information.
. - The WMS Kindness Club will be holding a Bake Sale Fundraiser — this Wednesday and Thursday right after school outside of the cafeteria. All money raised will be donated to the World Wildlife Fund — and helping the animals that were affected in the Australian Bushfires. Cookies and brownies are just 1-dollar each. Don’t forget your money!
. - Attention VJAS!! There will be a MANDATORY meeting for all students participating in the Virginia Junior Academy of Science — this THURSDAY in room 115 during 8th grade Wolf Time and 7th grade lunch. See Mrs. Warden for more information — and to get a pass for the meeting.
. - And now for an exciting announcement from the WMS Musical Theater Club — we now know the Spring Musical for this year! It’s Mary Poppins, Junior!!! Auditions will take place as soon as the scripts arrive — hopefully later this month — and all actors, singers, dancers, or ANYONE with interest in the theater is invited to try out for the show.
