  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7— plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • And now for an important announcement for all students and staff!  As we begin the new year, it’s important that everyone be reminded of the rules and expectations here at WMS.  So today, the administration will be hosting a series of “Reflection Assemblies” for all grade levels — 8th grade during 1st period, 7th grade during 3rd period, and 6th grade during 7th period.  Students should report to their classrooms for attendance, and then your teachers will escort you to the auditorium.  Let’s make a “resolution” to Set the Standard!  See your grade-level admin with any questions.

  • Calling all artists!  Starting TODAY — students are invited to sign-up for the Spring semester of ACT II Art. The Act II art program is a graded class held on THURSDAYS during ASP 1 and II.  It’s a great opportunity to work on a range on art projects, including drawing, painting, and sculpture.  The sign-up sheet is located on the Activities Board outside of the cafeteria.  See Mr. Skrzypek or Ms. Hogwood with any questions.
    .
  • You could be a poet, and you don’t even know it!  The WMS Poetry Club is meeting this TUESDAY during ASP 1 in room 209.  If you like to write poetry, read poetry, draw pictures inspired by poetry, or anything else, please come and check it out.  See Ms. Dizayee with any questions.
    .
  • Did you miss Picture Day last fall, or did your picture not turn out so well? Then you’re in luck — because “Picture Make-Up Day” is scheduled for this WEDNESDAY in the Auxiliary Gym.  If you never got a picture this year, then you can just go on down. But if it’s a retake, you must bring your unwanted picture packet with you to exchange. And remember — if you don’t take a picture, then you WON’T be included in the WMS yearbook. See Dr. Koval with any questions. And say cheese!
    .
  • Who’s ready for a fantastic show?!  The WMS theater department is proud to present our Winter play: The Snow Queen — based on the classic story by Hans Christian Anderson.  Performances are scheduled for this THURSDAY and FRIDAY, both at 7pm in the auditorium.
    .
Tickets are just 5-dollars per person, and can be purchased in advance on the WMS website using SchoolCash — or you can buy them at the door using regular cash.  See Mr. Randle with any questions, and we hope you enjoy the show!
