The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is dedicated to fostering an environment where every individual feels valued, respected, and empowered. Our mission is to promote and sustain a culture of belonging and connectedness within our community, ensuring that diversity is celebrated, equity is upheld, and inclusion is an explicit part of our daily interactions and institutional policies.We continually strive to:

February is a time to honor the contributions of African Americans to the nation we all call home. It is not merely a celebration of elite scholars, inventors, scientists, cultural icons, etc., but a celebration of the tenacity and ingenuity it takes for a people to forge ahead in the face of incredibly arduous circumstances. I am excited about the programming for this month and look forward to your support and participation!
