  • Today is the 2023 WMS Pep Rally!!  There will be performances, events, and games galore — as your teachers and classmates show off their school spirit.
    .
To accommodate the Pep Rally, we will be following a modified ‘B’ Day schedule.  That means TA ends at 8am, then you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, 6, and Wolf Time.  See your TA teacher with any questions about the modified B-Day schedule.
    .
And then — at roughly 1 o’clock — the Pep Rally will begin!  Students should first report to their Period 6(B) classroom for attendance, and then your teacher will escort you to the Gym. Please leave all of your books and belongings in your classroom.  And remember — we want to have fun, but we also need to be respectful and appropriate.  See you at the Pep Rally, wolves!!
    .
  • Calling all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who have PE today!  Due to the Pep Rally set-up in the gym, all PE classes will be meeting in the AUDITORIUM today.  Once again, everyone should go to the AUDITORIUM for PE today.
    .
  • If you participated in the Scholastic Arts Competition earlier this year, you need to pick up your work-of-art from Mr. Skrzypek as soon as possible.  Once again, this is the LAST CALL for students to retrieve their Scholastic art projects.
    .
  • Hey, 6th graders! How would YOU like to be on WOLF-TV next year???  WMS is now offering a new year-long Journalism class for the 7th grade — aka WOLF-TV!!  If you like to write, film video, edit movies, work with technology, and seek the TRUTH — then this class is for you!  For more information about 7th grade Journalism or to sign-up, please see Mr. Schonfeld or Ms. Bleakley.
    .
  • Attention 6th and 7th graders! Today is your LAST CHANCE to apply for next year’s STUDENT AMBASSADOR program.  Ambassadors will represent our school at special events and help to build a positive community within our shared environment.  See Ms. Kenney or your class counselor with any questions about the Student Ambassadors.
    .
  • Who wants cookies and cake??? In honor of Pride Month, the GSA will be hosting a bake sale next TUESDAY after school outside of the cafeteria and library. All proceeds will go to support the “It Gets Better Project” — a nonprofit organization with a mission to uplift, empower, and connect the LGBTQIA-plus community. So remember to bring a few dollars next Tuesday and get a sweet treat for a good cause!
    .
  • And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Solomon!  There is still one last SOL to go, so your iPad needs to be working!  If you are having any problems with your school-issued iPad — whether it’s password problems, not connecting to the internet, glitching apps, cracked screens, or ANYTHING else — please submit the online “Student Tech Help Request” form through the WMS website.  Ms. Solomon’s got the solution to getting you back online!
