- Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
. - Calling all jokesters, wise-crackers, and class clowns! Do you think you’re funny? Then PROVE IT!! If your TA would like to tell a joke on the Morning Announcements, just ask your TA teacher to sign-up using the GoogleForm that went out this week, or contact Mr. Schonfeld for more information. Let’s see if you can make us laugh, Williamsburg! Ba Boom, Ching!!
. - Attention all PE students! Please be sure to bring your iPads and ear buds to class this week for the DANCE unit. Once again, everyone should bring your iPad and ear buds to PE. See your PE teacher with any questions.
. - Calling all MUNNERS! The Model UN Club will meet TODAY in room C105 during ASP I. Participants will begin parliamentary discussions and break into delegations for research. Everyone is welcome to come! See Mr. McDermott with any questions.
. - Calling all TECHNOLOGY wolves! The TSA club will NOT be meeting this week — but they will resume NEXT week as scheduled. Once again, there is NO TSA club this week. See Mr. Dudek with any questions.
. - Everybody in the pool!! The WMS Swim and Diving teams are getting ready for a new season. Interested athletes should complete the Google Form on the WMS website by February 21st.
. - And now for a technology tip from Ms. Solomon! In preparation for the Spring SOLs, all students need to upgrade the operating system on your iPads to iOS 16.2. Just go to the “Software Update” tab under “Settings” on your iPad, then follow the on screen instructions. Once again, please update your iPad to iOS 16.2.
. - And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The WMS Wrestling team hosted Gunston yesterday in a make-up match from earlier this season — and it was well worth the wait! — winning by the whopping score of 72 to 12! Big props to 8th grader Conor M — the Team Captain who is UNDEFEATED in his middle school career — for earning 6 team points in the contest; and to 7th grader Ford R with his first win of the season. Tremendous victory for the whole team. Way to go, wrestling wolves!! [clap]
. - Wolf Pack Pride continues with the WMS music program. Congratulations to the 26 Chorus students who participated in District Honors Choir this past weekend. They spent their whole Friday and Saturday learning music, collaborating with other singers from Arlington and Fairfax counties, and then putting on an INCREDIBLE performance at Herndon High School. It was a show to remember. Way to go, singing wolves! [clap]
