- Today we’ve got a BRAND NEW SCHEDULE — it’s our first BLUE DAY. That means we start with an extended TA until 8:25. During this time, teachers may request to meet with students for individualized help and instruction. Otherwise, students will remain in their TAs and use this extra time to organize, study, or read!
.
After that, you’ll proceed to periods 1 through 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is BLUE day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
.
- Believe it or not, but the 1st Quarter is rapidly coming to a close. Which means: it’s almost time for the Wolf Paw Drawing!!! That’s right — the 1st Quarter Wolf Paw Drawing will be held this FRIDAY during TA. But to be eligible for a prize, your Wolf Paws must be submitted TODAY by the end of your lunch period.
.
And if you’d like a sneak-peak at the prizes, go check-out the display case by the library. There’s some great stuff in there — so stop dawdling and turn in your Wolf Paws TODAY!
.
- Who wants CANDY??? We’ve reached the CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND of the Halloween Candy countdown. And there are two tough contenders. It’s Twix versus Sour Patch Kids! To cast your vote, just go to the Library Canvas Course — and we’ll announce the winner this Friday. May the best candy win!!
.
- The PE Fall Gear Sale is open for business! From now until November 7th, students may purchase hoodies, joggers, or leggings through the online store. It’s a great way to show your Wolf Pack Pride — AND to stay warm on these cold fall days. Just go to your PE teacher’s Canvas homepage to order, or see your PE teacher with any questions.
.
- Calling all singers! Arlington Public Schools want YOU to audition for the Middle School Honors Chorus — scheduled for November 15th at Kenmore Middle School. .

- Wolf Pack Pride continues with the WMS Orchestra — who performed their Symphony Spooktacular last week, accompanied by musicians from Yorktown High School.
.
It was an INCREDIBLE show! But in case you missed it, here’s a song from the concert that you just might recognize. Roll Tape!!
- And finally — there are many less fortunate people in our shared community who are struggling with hardship and adversity.
.
But student-reporters Tucker W. and Charlie B. say there’s still hope! Stay tuned for our next segment: Helping Those in Need. Roll Tape!!
