• Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

• Get ready for a book bonanza!! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to WMS — all next week in the WMS Library.  All English classes are signed up to visit, but students can also visit before TA, during lunch, and after school on most days. Look for the signs around the school and on the school website for exact hours. Hooray for books!!

• Calling all film-makers, journalists, and video-jockeys! The 10th annual Arlington Student FilmFest is now accepting entries for its 2022 competition. Just follow the link in today’s Morning Announcements Blog to submit your video and application by the deadline on April 3rd. The Festival itself will take place on May 14th at Washington-and-Liberty High School — where all of the finalists and award-winners will be screened.  See Mr. Schonfeld for more information.  Now go make some movie magic!

• And now for an update on the March Madness Tournament of Books — Graphic Novel Edition!  Today is your LAST CHANCE to vote on the Final-4!   It’s “The Crossover” vs “Mighty Jack” and “Claudia and the New Girl” vs “I Survived the Nazi Invasion, 1944.” Just go to the Library Canvas Course to participate.  The March Madness Tournament of Books — may the best book win!

• Did you participate in an after school club this year? The WMS Yearbook is taking club pictures this week and next.  Here’s the schedule:  the Substance Abuse Task Force picture is TODAY in the Main Lobby immediately following the Morning Announcements.  So again, if you’re in the Substance Abuse Task Force, please start heading over now!

  Pictures continue on Monday with the Track & Field Team; and next Friday with TAB.   See your club sponsor with any questions — and say CHEESE!!

• And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  The results of the Northern Virginia Regional Science Fair are IN — and our student-scientists did an AMAZING job!
