- Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
. - And now for a “Transportation Tip” about riding the LATE bus. If you’re ever planning to take the LATE BUS after school — you MUST have a signed bus pass from your after-school activity. If you do not have a pass — you will NOT be allowed to ride the late bus. Again — students must have a pass in order to ride the Late Bus. See your grade-level administrator with any questions.
. - Calling all math lovers! Math Counts will be meeting TODAY during ASP 1 in room 216. All 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are invited to do math problems, play math games, and hone your problem solving skills. And this year, Math Counts is partnering with AMC-8! It’s all math, all the time at Math Counts! See Ms. Janney or Mr. Mencarini for more information.
. - And now for a technology tip from Ms. Solomon. THIS is a standard-issue school iPad. As you can see, it is completely enclosed by its protective case. Recently, many students have been REMOVING their iPads from the case — and not surprisingly, many of those iPads are BREAKING.
. - Students are reminded that iPads MUST be kept in their cases at ALL TIMES. If you’re seen without a case, it could result in serious consequences, including a phone call home. Any questions? Contact Ms. Solomon, or submit a Student Tech Help Request form.
. - And finally — what’s everyone’s FAVORITE time of the school day? LUNCH TIME!!
.
That’s right! But this year, the lunchtime routine looks a little different than years’ past. Student-reporters Caroline C. and Anna L. went down to the cafeteria to investigate. Roll Tape!!
