• Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

• Calling all Best Buddies! The Best Buddies Club is hosting its first meeting of the new year RIGHT NOW in room 108. Participating students who haven’t gone yet should IMMEDIATELY go down to room 108 and join in the fun. Once again, the Best Buddies Club is meeting NOW. Thanks, Buddy!!

• And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE! There are a lot of AMAZING students here at WMS. And they deserve to be recognized! A group of 18 distinguished students have been recognized by their teachers to receive this month’s Wolves With Character Award — for demonstrating outstanding “CARING” in their daily lives.  And the winners are:

• Wolf Pack Pride continues with the Act 2 Theatre Arts class — which premiered its winter showcase yesterday — The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.  Their performance was spectacular — and they received a standing ovation from the hundreds of friends, family, and community members in the audience.  Way to go, thespian wolves!! [clap]

  The next performances of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe are scheduled for TONIGHT and Saturday at 7 p.m., with an additional matinee show on Saturday at 2:30 — all in the school auditorium. Tickets are just 5-dollars for adults, 3-dollars for students, and 1-dollar for seniors. Enjoy the show!

• One final announcement about the Theater — anyone who’d like to participate in this year’s Spring Musical is invited to a “selection meeting” next MONDAY during ASP 1 in room 228.  Once you’ve picked a play to perform — you’ll get information about auditions and rehearsals.
  .
• And now for a “Transportation Tip” about riding the bus. If you’re ever planning to take a bus that’s not your own — like if you’re going to a friend’s house after school — you MUST bring a note from home to the main office NO LATER than your grade level lunch. Again, do NOT wait until the end of the day to get a bus pass — because there isn’t time and you’ll miss the bus! See Ms. Wielechoski in the office with any questions.
