  • We begin today with WOLF PACK PRIDE!  Can you say “DYNASTY?” The WMS track team has completed its quest for a 3-peat — winning the County Track Championship for the 3rd consecutive year! It was the perfect ending to a perfect season — going UNDEFEATED all year long and getting big contributions from every single athlete.
    .
Special congratulations go to our individual County Champions:  Julia E. in both the 50 meter and the High Jump; Kamel B. in the 50 meter; Chris R. in both the 70 meter and the High Jump; Celest G. in the 600 meter, Marin M. in the 800 meter; and Piper O. in the High Jump.  Way to go, running and jumping wolves!! [clap]

  •  Wolf Pack Pride continues with the Pennies for Patients Fundraiser — brought to you by the WMS Check-In program.  All the coins have been counted, and together we raised 4-THOUSAND 1-Hundred-and-1-Dollars, and 27-cents!! ($4,101.27) Every penny of that total will go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and its mission to cure blood cancer.
    .
And one more big bit of fundraiser news:  Congratulations to Ms. Smith’s 7th grade TA for raising the most money of any TA in school — due in large part to Olivia N. — who collected a whopping 275-dollars in online donations! Great job, Olivia, and everyone in Ms. Smith’s TA.  You’ve won yourself a pizza and Ice Cream Sundae Party!  Ms Kia will contact you soon with details.
    .
  • It’s SHOWTIME! The cast and crew of this year’s sensational Spring musical — Alice in Wonderland, Junior — are invited to an exclusive screening of the show — TODAY after school in the WMS auditorium. This is your chance to see YOURSELF on stage and screen. See Mr. Brown with any questions — and enjoy the show!
    .
  • Believe it or not, but we’re nearly at the halfway mark of the 4th and final quarter of the year!  This is a reminder that midterm grades will be posted next week — so students with any missing work, incompletes, or retakes should get with their teachers as soon as possible.  Stop procrastinating and get it done!!
    .
  • Attention all ACT 2 Inventions students — Today’s class has been CANCELLED.  Once again, there will be no Inventions class after school today.  But Mr. Dudek will have more information about upcoming classes soon.
    .
  • And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Solomon! The SOLs are just around the corner — and your iPad NEEDs to be working.  If you are having any problems with your school-issued iPad — whether it’s password problems, not connecting to the internet, glitching apps, cracked screens, or ANYTHING else — please submit the online “Student Tech. Help Request” form through the WMS website. Ms. Solomon’s got the solution! So submit today — and get yourself back online.
