  • We begin today with WOLF PACK PRIDE!  There’s some good news and some bad news for the Boys Basketball Team.  The bad news is:  our team lost by ONE POINT to Jefferson Middle School yesterday — dropping their first game of the season, 27 to 28.  It was a tough luck loss — in a hard fought game.
    .
But here’s the good news:  Your Williamsburg Wolves finish the season with an impressive 7 and 1 record — and have officially won the Arlington County Basketball Championship for 2017 – 2018.  Congratulations to all of our players and to Coach Johnson for an AMAZING season.  Way to go, baller wolves!!

  • We have an important announcement for all 6th graders on the exploratory WHEEL.  Today is the first day of your new class rotation.  So be sure to check with your TA teacher if you’re not sure where to go, and definitely hustle up this afternoon so you get there on time — you want to make a good first impression on your new teacher.  Once again, the 6th grade WHEEL is rotating TODAY.

  • Sister Circle will be meeting this THURSDAY during ASP 1 in room 233. Members and allies are encouraged to come out for a little Girl Talk — and a lot of fun activities! There will be a special guest speaker this week —  so don’t be late. See Ms. Cameron with any questions.

  • It’s never too soon to start planning for your future! The Hispanic Scholarship Fund is sponsoring “College Camp” on March 3rd at GW University. This exclusive, half-day event is designed to help Latino students – and their families — prepare, plan, and pay for a college education. See Ms. Cameron for more information about how to sign-up for “College Camp.” Your future starts NOW!

  • It’s time to share the love, Williamsburg, for the “Have a Heart” donation drive! The WMS Kindness Club is collecting new or gently-used towels and blankets this month. All donations will go to help local animal shelters, which house THOUSANDS of homeless pets. It’s the saddest thing, EVER — but you can help!! Collection bins are located in the main lobby by the library. So “have a heart” and “do your part” to support our furry friends in need! .
