  • We begin today with WOLF PACK PRIDE!  The WMS sports program is back-in-action today with a pair of big games.  First up, the boys Wrestling Team travels to Jefferson Middle School this afternoon, looking for their first team win of the year.  Go get ’em, wrestling wolves!!

  • And moving over to the hard court, the Boys Basketball Team is well-rested after a “bye” on Tuesday — and is now ready to roll!  They’re hosting Kenmore Middle School TODAY in the WMS gym at 3:15, and are looking to extend their unbeaten streak to seven in a row.  So pack the stands, root them on to victory, and Be a Part of the Pride!!

  • Attention 8th graders!  The Humanities Performance has been rescheduled for TODAY at 8:35 in the Auditorium.  Students are reminded to go to your 1st period class to take attendance before going to the assembly, then come over as a group.  Enjoy the show!

  • WMS “Kindness Week” continues here at WMS!  Students are encouraged to check-out the bulletin board by the cafeteria TODAY for ideas and suggestions for being kind. And tomorrow, we’ll wrap-up “Kindness Week” with another inspirational video. And remember — be KIND to eachother, wolves!!

  • Who wants pizza? The Model UN Club will be selling pizza and cookies this FRIDAY after school in the Main Lobby and by the Cafeteria. It’s just 2-bucks, and all money raised will go to support upcoming MUNer activities. Come hungry!

  • It’s never too soon to start planning for your future!  The Hispanic Scholarship Fund is sponsoring “College Camp” on March 3rd at GW University.  This exclusive, half-day event is designed to help Latino students – and their families — prepare, plan, and pay for a college education.  See Ms. Cameron for more information about how to sign-up for “College Camp.”  Your future starts NOW!

  • It’s time to share the love, Williamsburg, for the “Have a Heart” donation drive! The WMS Kindness Club is collecting new or gently-used towels and blankets this month.  All donations will go to help local animal shelters, which house THOUSANDS of homeless pets.  It’s the saddest thing, EVER — but you can help!!  Collection bins are located in the main lobby by the library. So “have a heart” and “do your part” to support our furry friends in need!
