  • We begin today with WOLF PACK PRIDE!  The WMS music program hosted the 2017 Winter Orchestra and Chorus Concert last night in the school auditorium.  Hundreds of students, staff, and community members attended the show. And the performance was AMAZING — demonstrating the skill and commitment of our many young musicians as they played the songs of the season.  Way to go, musical wolves!! [clap]

  • It’s better to GIVE than to RECEIVE!  The WMS Kindness Club is helping the Arlington Police Department with a new charity this year, called “Fill the Cruiser – Holiday Toy Drive.”  Students and staff are encouraged to bring in NEW and UNWRAPPED gifts between now and December 20th, all of which will be given to APS students in need this holiday season.  Grade-level donation bins are located in the library.  So now, let’s see which grade — 6, 7, or 8 — has the most GENEROUS holiday spirit. Spread kindness where you may, and donate to the Toy Drive today!!

  • Hey, Williamsburg, what’s your favorite cereal?  Whether it’s Raisin Bran, Lucky Charms, Cheerios, or anything else — that box of cereal can go a long way to helping the homeless in Arlington.  Ms. Compton’s English Class is currently collecting cereal in support of A-SPAN — the Arlington Street People’s Assistance Network. Students and staff are encouraged to bring in a box or two and drop them in the “Big Blue Box” by the WMS main entrance.  Cereal will be accepted between now and next TUESDAY. After all — breakfast is the most important meal of the day!!

  • Who wants pizza? The Model UN Club will be selling pizza on FRIDAY after school, both in the main lobby and by the cafeteria.  It’s just 2-dollars for a slice and a cookie — and all money raised will go to support the Model UN and its upcoming conferences.  Come hungry!
