- Take down, reversal, PIN! The WMS Wrestling team is gearing-up for a new season. Interested athletes are invited to an informational meeting TODAY during ASP 1 in the Library. Learn all about the team, practice, and upcoming matches. Remember that you must have a physical on file to participate. See Coach Hicks with any questions.

- Did you miss Picture Day last month — or did your picture not turn out so well? Then you’re in luck — because “Picture Make-Up Day” is TOMORROW in the Auditorium during TA and all grade-level PE classes. Here’s what to do: if you haven’t taken a picture yet this year, then print a “Retake Form” from the WMS website and bring it with you. OR if you’d like a NEW picture, then you must bring your unwanted picture packet with you to exchange. And remember — if you don’t take a picture, then you WON’T be included in the WMS yearbook. See Ms. Argenal in the main office with any questions. Say cheese!

- Need help with Spanish? The Yorktown tutors are back! Come to Room WW12 on TUESDAY during ASP II and get extra help with grammar, vocab, and everything you need to succeed. Just sign up with your Spanish teacher to attend, or see Senora Stewart with any questions. Hasta pronto!

- The “Boys Cohort” will be holding its first meeting of the year — TOMORROW during ASP 1 in room 233. Boys Cohort is an opportunity for Black and Latino students to meet new people, and learn how to be a LEADER in the community. Allies are welcome, too! See Ms. Cameron with any questions.

- Look our world — here we come! The Future Business Leaders of America — or FBLA — will be meeting this FRIDAY during WOLF TIME in room 136. This project-based club focuses on Community Service, Leadership, and preparing for a successful career in business. See Mrs. Kontos or Mrs. Briones for more information — and to get your agenda signed.

- And now for a “Transportation Tip” about riding the bus. If you’re ever planning to take a bus that’s not your own — like if you’re going to a friend’s house after school — you MUST bring a note from home to the main office NO LATER than your grade level lunch. Again, do NOT wait until the end of the day to get a buss pass — because there isn’t time and you’ll miss the bus! See Ms. Argenal in the office with any questions.

- Finally today, it’s time for an update on the WMS PTA’s “No Frills Fundraiser! The goal is to raise 40-THOUSAND dollars to support our school and shared community. As of this morning, we’re just a few thousand dollars away — so our leadership has decided to EXTEND the fundraiser for one more week. Which means: we get an EXTRA Donut Hero! If your parents make a donation, you’ll be automatically entered into the weekly DONUT HERO drawing — and could be the winner of a free Duck Donuts breakfast for your entire TA!!

- So without further ado, here is this week’s Donut Hero! The winner is: LINCOLN HOP and Ms. Zarro’s entire TA!! Congratulations, the PTA will schedule your party soon.
