  • We begin today with Wolf Pack Pride!  Our student-athletes are gearing up for another round of games against our rival, Swanson Middle School, this afternoon.  Both Girls Soccer and the Tennis Team will be playing on the road, with matches beginning at 3:15.  So head on over to Swanson after school — and root our teams to victory.  Let’s go, wolves!!
    .
  • Wolf Pack Pride continues this evening — when WMS hosts BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT, from 7 to 9 p.m.  This is a chance for your parents to “walk in your shoes” — as they follow your daily schedule, meet your teachers, and tour the school. So go home and tell your folks — come to Back to School Night  — and be a Part of the Pride!
    .
  • In preparation for Back to School Night, ALL after school activities will be CANCELLED today — that includes intramurals and clubs. But the Extended Day Program will remain on its normal schedule.
    .
  • The WMS Model UN team will be holding its long-awaited first meeting of the year on TUESDAY during ASP 1 in room 202.  All MUNners are welcome — new and old.  Stop by Ms. Carlson’s room this week to receive a packet of information, or with any questions.
    .
  • The WMS Kindness Club had a GREAT first meeting yesterday — and the Kindness just keeps on coming!  The OFFICIAL Kindness Club kick-off is scheduled for next TUESDAY during ASP 1 in room 134.  All are welcome to come and help spread kindness throughout the community. See Ms. Schaefer, Ms. Zeller or Mr. Johnson with any questions.
    .
  • The WMS Check-in Program will be hosting a bake sale this FRIDAY after school — in support of the many victims of hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria.  Sweet treats will be available in the front lobby and by the cafeteria, and cost just 1 to 2-dollars each.  So come on out, show your support for those in need, and get a “baked good” for a “good cause!”
    .
  • And finally today, a special message from Principal Boykin.  It’s time to find out which WMS TA had the most interesting, creative, and inspirational poster in the school-wide “Create the Future” contest.  Check it out!
