- We begin today with WOLF PACK PRIDE! It’s Teacher Appreciation Week here at WMS — and on behalf of all the students, we’d like to take a moment to recognize the women and men of our faculty for the tremendous job they do everyday. For your dedication, patience, creativity, and care — it’s because of you that we kids have the opportunity to learn and grow, and to reach our full potential. So let’s hear it, Williamsburg! A round of applause for the WMS teachers! Way to go, teacher wolves!! [clap]
. - In other Wolf Pack news, the Model UN Team competed in the WASHMUN tournament last weekend — and did a FABULOUS job! MUNners Logan M. and Andrew D. both earned an Outstanding Delegate Award, and 8th grader Benji G. got a huge honor — taking home the Best Delegate Award!! Congratulations to all of our participants for doing us proud. Way to go, wolves!! [clap] The Model UN will not be meeting this week, but will reconvene next THURSDAY for some “Fun MUN!” All past and present members are welcome!
. - Need help with Spanish? The Yorktown Spanish Honor Society is offering FREE tutoring on TUESDAY during ASP 2 in room WW 6. Get extra help with grammar and vocab — and everything you need to succeed. This will be the FINAL tutoring session of the year — so don’t miss it! Just sign up with your Spanish teacher to attend, or see Senora Stewart with any questions. Hasta pronto!
. - Who wants pizza?! The WMS Future Business Leaders of America Club will be holding a pizza fundraiser on FRIDAY after school by the Library and the Cafeteria. It’s just 2-dollars a slice.
